Section 5DA of the Infrastructure Australia Act 2008 (IA Act) requires Infrastructure Australia to assess and report on certain nationally significant infrastructure projects that have been committed to without prior evaluation by Infrastructure Australia. This requirement came into effect following amendments to the IA Act in December 2023.
