This framework outlines Infrastructure Australia’s role in conducting Post Completion Evaluations (PCEs) on completed infrastructure projects.
It defines the approach IA will use to capture evidence and generate insights to enhance project selection, assessment methodologies and reporting requirements of future infrastructure projects.
The Framework outlines:
- The policy and legislative context explaining IA’s role in delivering PCEs.
- The objectives, outcomes, and principles of IA’s PCE function.
- The PCE activities that IA will undertake to review infrastructure projects after their completion and what IA will do with the outputs of those activities.
- Expectations for roles, data governance, confidentiality/de-identification, and data controls, with the aim of PCE activities being scalable, consultative and non-duplicative with jurisdiction processes.
