We evaluate infrastructure project proposals that are nationally significant or where an Australian, state or territory government is seeking an investment from the Commonwealth of more than $250 million.
Our evaluation process considers each proposal against three key evaluation criteria – see below – and helps us identify priority proposals for Australian Government investment (see Infrastructure Priority List).
- Strategic Fit – is there a clear rationale for the proposal?
- Societal Impact – what is the value of the proposal to society and the economy?
- Deliverability – can the proposal be successfully delivered?
Completed evaluations are published on our website where they are easy to find by using the map or filters to search evaluations.
