This proposal is currently under evaluation by Infrastructure Australia.

Significant population and employment growth within the Central Coast area is driving increased demand for transport connectivity to, through and within Wyong Town Centre.

The Pacific Highway is a major arterial road connecting Wyong to Newcastle in the north, and Gosford in the south. The project will provide two lanes in each direction from Johnson Road at Tuggerah through Wyong Town Centre and replace the existing Wyong River Road bridge with new twin bridges.

The upgrade aims to improve traffic flow, travel times and safety for all road users, as well as provide for future improvements to the public transport network.

The Australian Government has committed $336 million the project.
