In 2015, Infrastructure Australia positively assessed the Gateway Motorway Upgrade North – Nudgee Interchange to Deagon Deviation in Brisbane, Queensland as ‘Ready to Proceed’.

The project will widen the motorway from four to six lanes, include a cycleway, and develop a range of new and upgraded ramps and bridges. The project seeks to address congestion and road safety issues that impact the primary link roads to the Port of Brisbane and Brisbane Airport.
