The Bruce Highway, Bribie Island to Steve Irwin Way Project aims to widen the Bruce Highway from four to six lanes between Caboolture and Steve Irwin Way. 

A program initiative for upgrading the Bruce Highway was included as a Priority Initiative on the Infrastructure Priority List.

The business case was accepted for Infrastructure Australia's assessment on 7 March 2019.

On 15 November 2019, Infrastructure Australia added the Bruce Highway, Bribie Island to Steve Irwin Way Project  to the Infrastructure Priority List as a Priority Project
