In 2012, Infrastructure Australia recommended that the Pacific Highway Corridor Upgrade be rated ‘Ready to Proceed’ on the Infrastructure Priority List.

The project involves a suite of upgrades to complete the divided Pacific Highway, with the aim to complete a safer, high quality road network connecting Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
