In some cases, we may need to seek further information about a proposed project in order to complete our evaluation. When this happens, we will note in the table below that we are awaiting information, and during this time the evaluation will remain on hold.

The business case is for upgrading existing signalling and control systems on the Perth rail network to an integrated high-capacity signalling system, enabling more trains and improved reliability.
The proposal comprises the duplication of the remaining single-track section of the Port Botany Rail Line, and delivery of a new passing loop on the Southern Sydney Freight Line, to increase capacity, efficiency and reliability.
The business case is for the construction of a new 21km rail line between Bayswater and Ellenbrook, to provide rapid transit access for communities, workers and tourists in this area.
