The business case is for upgrading the Tonkin Highway between Great Eastern Highway and Collier Road, and associated works, to address congestion, improve reliability, freight productivity and active transport connectivity.

This business case proposes an alternative freight access route to the Port of Albany. The project would involve a ring road around the urban areas of Albany, which aims to improve freight efficiency and help separate freight, local and tourist traffic within Albany.

The business case is to build a new Armadale Road Bridge over the Kwinana Freeway, which would connect North Lake Road to Armadale Road in the Cockburn Central area. It aims to resolve current bottlenecks, improve travel times, and improve amenity and liveability within the area.

The business case is for a 27-kilometre four-lane grade-separated dual carriageway road at the outer edge of Bunbury. It would connect the Bussell Highway, north of Bunbury, to the Forrest Highway in the south.

Western Sydney

The business case is for removing six level crossings on the inner Armadale Line. The project aims to improve safety and reduce congestion at the level crossings, as well as improving station precincts and public open space.

The business case is to extend the Armadale Line approximately eight kilometres south to Byford. This is to support and provide public transport access to the high-growth suburb of Byford.

The business case is for a western bypass of Parkes, as part of a Newell Highway upgrade program. It aims to enable access for high productivity vehicles, improve freight efficiency and reduce congestion and safety risks in the Parkes town centre.

This is a proposal for upgrading Canberra’s Commonwealth Avenue Bridge, one of two major crossings over Lake Burley Griffin that are vital to the capital’s transport network. The bridge was originally constructed in the early 1960s to a 1950s design.
