Infrastructure Australia uses a rigorous and structured process for assessing infrastructure projects or initiatives for inclusion on the Infrastructure Priority List. This process is explained in our Assessment Framework.
The Assessment Framework provides detailed information about what you need to provide in a submission so that we can evaluate your proposal.
How to use the submission guidelines
Review the submission stages to see a brief summary of what will be required of you at each stage in the assessment process and which section of the Assessment Framework is most relevant to you.
Once you’ve identified which submission stage is relevant to your proposal, refer to the relevant sections of the Assessment Framework to find out in more detail what you need to include in your submission:
View past evaluations to see examples of projects the Infrastructure Australia Board has evaluated and their conclusions about those projects.
You can search the live Infrastructure Priority List, which is regularly updated, to see which investments have been prioritised across the country.
