This assessment brief outlines the South Australian Government's plan for a package of bus priority measures, transit zones and interchange upgrades on the East–West Bus Corridor in Adelaide. The project will improve the efficiency and service quality of existing bus services on the east–west (including the north-east) mass transit corridor and thereby increase public transport patronage. The South Australian Government is seeking $174.3 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.

This assessment brief outlines the Queensland Government's plan for the core Cross River Rail project. The project will provide the necessary infrastructure to support the transformation of Brisbane into Australia's third internationally competitive city and support critical freight networks. An updated capital cost of $4,445 million was announced publicly by the Queensland Government in late June 2012. The Queensland Government is seeking $3.33 billion of Commonwealth funding for the project.

This assessment brief outlines the Queensland Government's plan to upgrade the Ipswich Motorway between Rocklea and Darra. The upgrade will improve travel times and reliability for freight travelling on the Ipswich Motorway between Rocklea and Darra. The Rocklea to Darra section of the Ipswich Motorway is the final stage of the six-stage upgrade of the Ipswich Motorway. This is the first time Infrastructure Australia has received a submission for the sixth stage, Rocklea to Darra. The Queensland Government is seeking $558 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.
