The M1 Pacific Motorway Extension to Raymond Terrace and Hexham Straight Upgrade proposal is for the development of the Pacific Motorway at Newcastle.

The Coffs Harbour Bypass proposal is for an upgrade of the Pacific Highway at Coffs Harbour. The proposal includes the construction of a new 12 kilometre bypass from south of the Englands Road intersection to Korora Hill and a 2 kilometre upgrade of the existing Pacific Highway between Korora Hill and Sapphire.

The Newcastle Inner City Bypass – Rankin Park to Jesmond project involves the construction of a 3.4 km section of the Newcastle Inner City Bypass. Bypassing the existing route is intended to reduce congestion and travel times, and improve road safety.

This assessment brief outlines the New South Wales Government's proposal to upgrade a 10.5 kilometre section of the F3 freeway from Tuggerah to Doyalson, including pavement strengthening and widening the freeway from four to six lanes. The upgrade will increase the productivity of the freeway and enhance connectivity for passenger and freight vehicles between the central coast and Sydney by improving the existing road network and reducing congestion. The New South Wales Government is seeking $100 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.
