It outlines a number of proposed reforms for the efficient and effective selection, delivery and operation of economic infrastructure.

This assessment brief outlines the Western Australian Government's proposal to widen a section of the North West Coastal Highway in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The project will improve the efficiency and safety of freight and other vehicles on the highway by widening the sealed section and creating improved flood immunity to support the operation of wide and heavy vehicles. The Western Australian Government is seeking $143.2 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.

This assessment brief outlines the Western Australian Government's proposal to build approximately 1.8 kilometres of dual carriageway and undertake a major intersection reconfiguration along the Leach Highway (High Street) in East Fremantle between Carrington Street and the Stirling Highway. The upgrade will reduce delays for freight vehicles, improve road capacity and improve network amenity along a section of urban arterial road. The Western Australian Government is seeking $57.2 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.

This assessment brief outlines the Western Australian Government's proposal to upgrade sections of the Great Northern Highway between Muchea and Wubin in the Wheatbelt region. The project will involve reconstruction and realignment of selected sections of the highway, upgrading intersections, widening the seal and constructing additional passing lanes. The upgrade will mprove the efficiency, reliability and safety of the route between Perth and the north-west of Western Australia. The Western Australian Government is seeking $288.9 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.

This report sets out the results of the National Road Asset Reporting Pilot. The pilot aimed to test whether would be possible for Australia's local government areas to collate road asset condition reports for their areas so that national road standards, covering safety, freight efficiency and amenity, can be developed.
