In 2015, Infrastructure Australia positively assessed the Gateway Motorway Upgrade North – Nudgee Interchange to Deagon Deviation in Brisbane, Queensland as ‘Ready to Proceed’.

In May 2016, Infrastructure Australia assessed the M1 Pacific Motorway – Mudgeeraba to Varsity Lakes project as a Priority Project on the Infrastructure Priority List.

In May 2016, Infrastructure Australia assessed the Ipswich Motorway Project (Rocklea to Darra) Stage 1c (Package 1) as a High Priority Project on the Infrastructure Priority List.

On 27 July 2016, the M1 Pacific Motorway-Gateway Motorway Merge Upgrade (southbound lanes) project was positively assessed as a Priority Project on the Infrastructure Priority List.

On 27 July 2016, Infrastructure Australia assessed the Bruce Highway Upgrade project as a Priority Project on the Infrastructure Priority List.

On 9 February 2017, Infrastructure Australia positively assessed the Bruce Highway Upgrade – Mackay Ring Road – Stage 1 initiative as a Priority Project on the Infrastructure Priority List (IPL).

On 9 February 2017, Infrastructure Australia positively assessed the Bruce Highway Upgrade – Cooroy to Curra, Section C: South – Traveston to Woondum project as a Priority Project on the Infrastructure Priority List.

On 19 July 2017, Infrastructure Australia has retained Cross River Rail as a High Priority Initiative on the Infrastructure Priority List. Infrastructure Australia has not included the current proposal for Cross River Rail as a Project on the Infrastructure Priority List at this time. 

On 15 December 2017, Infrastructure Australia determined not to add the Haughton River Floodplain upgrade project to the Infrastructure Priority List.

In 2015, Infrastructure Australia recommended that WestConnex be included on the Infrastructure Priority List as ‘Threshold’.
