This assessment brief outlines the New South Wales Government's WestConnex project, which consists of around 33 km of interconnected road projects that will extend the M4 motorway towards Sydney city, widen the M5 East motorway and join those two motorways with a new tunnel running under the inner western suburbs of Sydney.

This assessment brief outlines the Western Australian Government's proposal to build approximately 1.8 kilometres of dual carriageway and undertake a major intersection reconfiguration along the Leach Highway (High Street) in East Fremantle between Carrington Street and the Stirling Highway. The upgrade will reduce delays for freight vehicles, improve road capacity and improve network amenity along a section of urban arterial road. The Western Australian Government is seeking $57.2 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.
