Infrastructure Australia CEO Romilly Madew AO addressed the 5th annual Developing Northern Australia Conference in Karratha, Western Australia on 11 July 2019. Her remarks focused on the unique challenges and untapped opportunities in northern Australia, and how infrastructure might function as a catalyst for growth in the area, addressing issues such as overcrowding in remote housing and improving health and education, especially within disadvantaged communities.

Infrastructure Australia Chief Executive Philip Davies addressed the Australia-Canada Infrastructure Symposium in Sydney on 20 February 2017.
In this speech, he discusses the role Infrastructure Australia plays in supporting the development of evidence-based infrastructure proposals and in implementing a culture of long-term, integrated land use planning. He also talks about the importance of achieving consensus with Australia’s three levels of government on investment priorities and opportunities for reform, and highlights some of the major projects currently on the Infrastructure Priority List.
