The Council of Australia Governments endorsed the National Public Private Partnership Policy and Guidelines on 29 November 2008. All Australian, State and Territory Government agencies will now apply the National Policy and Guidelines. The National Policy and Guidelines effectively replace previously existing policy and guidelines in those jurisdictions.

Draft Commercial Principles for Economic Infrastructure
The Commercial Principles for Economic Infrastructure will complete the suite of National PPP Guidelines. Infrastructure Australia invited PPP participants and advisers to provide comments on this draft. Comments were required to be submitted to mail@infrastructureaustralia.gov.au by 23 January 2009.
