Infrastructure Priority List

Infrastructure Australia develops the Infrastructure Priority List to:

  • identify projects of national significance;
  • ensure the nation's key infrastructure-related challenges are being addressed;
  • inform governments of the highest priority projects; and
  • prioritise access to the Infrastructure Tax Loss Incentive.

In previous years, the Infrastructure Priority List was updated annually through Infrastructure Australia's Report to Council of Australian Governments.

In future, the priority list will be updated periodically as Infrastructure Australia makes changes to the list, for example by including new projects or changing the category of projects already on the list. The last update was in December 2013.
