Working with the Council of Australian Governments

Infrastructure Australia will report regularly to the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) through the Federal Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government.

COAG agreed that the immediate priorities for Infrastructure Australia over the next 12 months are:

• the completion of the National Infrastructure Audit by end 2008;
• the development of an Infrastructure Priority List for COAG consideration in March 2009; and
• the development of best practice guidelines of Public Private Partnerships for COAG's consideration by October 2008.
